Coleman Construction & Utilities Limited (CC&UL) has completed its largest single concrete pour to date at its Wingham Civil Engineering project for Principal Contractor CMDP, on behalf of client Southern Water.

The site team is firmly on target and led by Site Manager Keith Sturmer, constructed the large storm tank base, where 128m3 of concrete was poured in a single shift for the base using a 42m concrete pump and then it was neatly finished by hand. The team had already prepared the ground and expertly installed 34 tonnes of rebar, all tied and fixed into position to reinforce the 350mm deep concrete base.

The whole pour day went as exactly as planned and could not have been achieved without great team work from the whole gang at CC&UL.

Next up for the project is the Tertiary area hardstanding and road construction and construction of the storm tank wall using a Peri panel system.
