Coleman Rail Completes Station Building Work in North Wales

Coleman Rail has carried out some building work for valued rail client Spence. Coleman Rail and its in-house specialists were contracted at Machynlleth Station, North Wales, to remove the existing, old timber finials from the front and the back of the railway station – as shown in pictures – in order that slate repairs could be undertaken to the station roof.

Coleman Rail took the old finials to a supply chain partner who designed and made six new finials – three for the front and three for the back.

Coleman Rail’s skilled operatives, installed the new finials last weekend using a commercial cherry picker, hand tools and a fixing agent to complete the repair to the Station Building.

All works were supported by Coleman Rail’s head office team, led by Rail Manager Lewis McGuigan.
